Lowell Elementary School

Lowell offers a rigorous curriculum with a focus on mathematics, science, and technology while integrating reading, social sciences, language arts, art, music and physical education.

Lowell's Tierra Buena courtyard environment is conducive to the academic and behavioral expectations set at the school. The entire school courtyard is a living science classroom including desert and riparian pond environments.

The emphasis at Lowell is on high school preparation and the development of a positive attitude toward learning. In 8th grade, excelling students have the opportunity to take advanced math courses at Central High School and students are provided the opportunity to participate in real-life science field trips. Lowell students often test into Honors English and Mathematics courses in secondary private and public schools upon promotion from Lowell.
