Mr. Doug Allsworth

Governing Board Member

Mr. Allsworth began serving on the District Governing Board in January 2007. He is a native of Phoenix and grew up in the public schools in central Phoenix. Mr. Allsworth holds a law degree from the University of Arizona and a Bachelors in Economics from Hamilton College in New York. He served as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer from 1989 to 1993.

A member of Valley Leadership Class XXI, he practices law with the local office of a national law firm. Actively involved in the community, Mr. Allsworth has served on the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern Arizona, Planned Parenthood Action Fund and the Regional Board of Directors for Teach for America. He is also a member of Arizona Town Hall, and previously served as Recorder for the organization.

Mr. Allsworth and his wife Shannon have three preschool age children.
