Nursing Department

The nursing services for Phoenix Elementary School District #1 are delivered by either a licensed RN or trained health technician. There is a health office at every campus whose staff delivers needed first aid, can administer daily physician-prescribed medication, provides comfort care, offers referrals to community-based health services, and teaches heath/wellness education as appropriate. Several of our campus health offices are equipped to offer free immunizations to any student in the district. Some of our sites sponsor free health clinics run by outside providers. All health services are overseen by a lead nurse whose office at the District Office.
