Arizona Public Service (APS) selected Herrera teachers Vanessa Palma (pictured above, right), serving 1st-4th grade exceptional students, and Trudy Bent-Olson (pictured above, left), serving 2nd grade students, as winners for the APS Supply My Class program. The program awards K-12 Title 1 teachers with a $500 Visa gift card to spend on supplies and resources for their classroom. APS surprised the teachers with a gift card each on September 1, 2023.
