Family Life Curriculum Resource Review  – Phoenix Elementary School District #1

Pursuant to A.R.S. 15-721, notice is hereby given to parents, family and members of the general public that on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 8:00 AM, at the Emerson Court building, 1817 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85006, curriculum materials to support Family Life will be available for public review and feedback. The Public Review period will conclude after a 60-day period on March 28, 2025. The materials under review are an updated version of previously approved District curriculum materials.

Current Board policy and A.R.S. 15-711 requires parental permission for students in 6-8 to participate in family life education and provides parents the opportunity to review materials annually at least two weeks prior to any instruction being offered.
