Dear Paul Laurence Dunbar School Community,
I am excited to welcome students and families into Dunbar as we work together to create a fantastic 2024-2025 school year! I am very proud to be the principal of this wonderful school. Strengthening relationships and partnerships with students, families, staff, and community members during the upcoming year is a privilege. I value communication, collaboration, and making positive connections. As your principal, I promise to keep students at the forefront of every decision we make as a school.
We are delighted to welcome back our exceptional teaching staff. Building strong relationships is key to creating safe and nurturing environments. We are dedicated to ensuring all students have access to their grade-level curriculum. This year, we will focus on strengthening Early Mathematics to ensure all students make significant progress. Our instructional staff will use a variety of student assessments to plan for instruction and support all students. We look forward to sharing assessment information with families and students and involving you in goal setting. Your understanding of the importance of high expectations for your children and your partnership in meeting their goals is crucial.
