Who We Are
Edison is a neighborhood school filled with stars! To us, a star is a leader who understands self-advocacy and a pursuit towards future success. We have come to expect that star quality from our students, staff, teachers, families, and community partners. We set high expectations for our students and support them on the journey towards accomplishing goals.
Edison is a partnership of educators, parents and community members who:
- Prepare students for the future
- Provide rigorous instruction
- Promote academic success for students to reach their highest potential
- Present and model high expectations
- Partner with students to build a responsible, respectful, healthy community
Edison is a team of self-sufficient, well-educated, respectful, responsible achievers and leaders.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
At Thomas A. Edison School we believe that all students, community members, and staff on our campus should be Hardworking, Kind, and Responsible. Our expectations are broken down by the area of the school with skills we should demonstrate to meet those expectations. Learn more about our PBIS framework.
At Thomas A. Edison School we take safety as a priority for our students and staff. We have plans in place in case of an emergency. Those plans are shared and practiced with staff and students to ensure that we are prepared.
For safety, we ask that all visitors check in at the front office before entering our campus. All visitors will be required to wear a badge while on our campus.
