Celebrating International Day of the Child
Parents, friends and the whole Shaw community came together for the "International Day of the Child" celebration. The event began with a parade, followed by a program by the primary, elementary and choir classes.
Students read poems from Shel Silverstein's, "A Light in The Attic," and one class performed "The Macarena." Students showcased music from Mexico, Spain, Philippines, Colombia, Venezuela, United States of America and many more, including, “Africa” by Toto, "La Pulga y El Piojo," and “It’s a Small World."
