Phoenix Elementary School District #1 is statutorily required to publish a proposed budget prior to holding a public hearing and meeting to adopt the budget. The proposed budget summary and notice of public hearing has been electronically transmitted to the Superintendent of Public Instruction and may be viewed here:

Annual Financial Reports

The Annual Financial Report (AFR) is an annual financial report due to the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) by October 15. The AFR includes budget and actual summary information for revenues, expenditures, and fund balances for all district funds. The AFR has been electronically transmitted to ADE and may be viewed below:

Arizona Auditor General School District Spending Report

The Arizona Auditor General serves as an independent source of impartial information concerning State and local governmental entities and provides specific recommendations to improve the operations of those entities.  The Auditor General’s office provides an annual report on school district spending comparing how districts allocate their funds to other districts with similar characteristics.
