• Child Nutrition

  • The Child Nutrition team at Phoenix #1 proudly serves approximately 1.5 million meals annually through the National School Breakfast and Lunch programs, as well as our Afterschool Supper program.

Our dedicated team is committed to providing meals that not only meet the stringent standards of the USDA Food & Nutrition Services but also delight our students. To ensure we’re offering the best possible options, we regularly conduct taste panels with students across our schools to gather their feedback and preferences. We understand that offering nutritious, delicious, and appealing options is essential to ensure our students are well-fed and ready for a day of learning.

We’re excited to announce that for the 2024-2025 school year, we will be introducing at least 13 new entrée items, featuring a variety of quick scratch and scratch options. We also continue to offer a daily vegetarian entrée on our K-8 lunch menus.

Additionally, we are pleased to offer both breakfast and lunch at no charge to all enrolled students at our school sites throughout the 2024-2025 school year, unless otherwise noted.
