FAMILY LIFE CURRICULUM RESOURCE REVIEW

PHOENIX ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT #1

Dates: March 17, 2025 & March 18, 2025

Pursuant to A.R.S. 15-721, notice is hereby given to parents, family and members of the general public that two opportunities will be provided to learn more about the updated family life curriculum materials being considered for Board adoption for use with grades 6-8. Choosing the Best will be on-site to present an overview of 6-8 curriculum materials and answer questions on the following dates: 

• Monday, March 17, 2025 from 4:00 - 5:15 PM, at the Emerson Court building, 1817 N. 7^th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85006. Join Via Zoom

• Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 5:15 - 6:30 PM, at the Emerson Court building, 1817 N. 7^th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85006. Join Via Zoom

Virtual participation will be an option. Information can be found on the Phoenix Elementary School District #1 website the week of March 10, 2025. 

Current Board policy and A.R.S. 15-711 requires parental permission for students in 6-8 to participate in family life education and provides parents the opportunity to review materials annually at least two weeks prior to any instruction being offered.
