Attending a Meeting

Regular Governing Board meetings are held twice each month on Tuesdays, except for November and December, which have one meeting. All meetings start at 5:15 p.m. The public is welcome to attend regular meetings in person or view the livestream. Meetings are subject to change. Meetings are held at the Phoenix Elementary School District Office/Emerson Court, 1817 N. 7th St., in the Governing Board Room.

To Make a Public Comment

To make a public comment, community members may request to speak in person during a meeting by completing a Request to Speak form and giving it to the Governing Board secretary prior to the start of the Board meeting. The Board president will call the names of those who request to speak.

If you are unable to attend the Board meeting, you may send your communication to communityrelations@phxschools.org by 4:30 p.m. the day of the Board meeting. Please state in the subject line – Community Communication; include your name, address, and your role as a staff member, parent or community member; along with your communication in the body of the email. If you do not have access to email, please call (602) 523-5900 to share your communication; however, accuracy of your message is not guaranteed if communicated via telephone. Public comments that are emailed or shared over the telephone will be read aloud by the Governing Board secretary.

All public comments are limited to three minutes at the discretion of the Governing Board President.
